Millinery Felt is different to the felt you use for crafting. It comes as a cone shape hood, or a capeline hood. Wool felt is the most affordable ofĀ the felts and is a joy to work with. You can also spend a lot more and purchase a fur felt or a peach bloom felt cone/capeline for a better quality finish and it is also an absolute dream to work with. But a wool felt is a good place to start.
In this course, we need no special tools or fancy objects, and I believe it is a great foundation for anyone looking to work with felt. As you progress through to blocking felt, you will have learnt skills here in terms of trims etc that will be invaluable to you. We complete three different types of pieces together in the course and you'll be well able to go on and keep creating new ideas yourself afterwards.
